Education:
Career: Dedicated program manager serving immigrant newcomers with experience working in the non-profit and public sectors.
Community Service:
Personal Life: My husband, Dzanan and I have been married for 20 years and have loved raising our two daughters in the North Penn community. We knew North Penn was truly home when our oldest started kindergarten at Knapp Elementary School. We valued the sense of community that was fostered within the schools and for the opportunities for growth and enrichment. That kindergartner will graduate from North Penn High School this June and throughout her time at North Penn, we have valued the experiences, challenges, and opportunities that our girls have been afforded.
Why am I running for School Board?
I am incredibly proud of the work that the Board has accomplished in partnership with the district’s administration team and our North Penn neighbors. Being of service to the North Penn community has been the honor of a lifetime and whereas we have accomplished much, there is more work to be done. If reelected, I will continue to support efforts to ensure our district’s buildings meet the needs of our students, particularly NPHS, our middle schools, and any project that directly impacts student safety and could impact their access to educational supports. In addition, I will continue to support efforts to ensure that every student feels welcome and safe and that we, as a community, work together to ensure that they are afforded every opportunity to grow, learn, and achieve.
