Career: I am a multidisciplinary leader with strong technical, strategic, and execution skills. As a trained engineer and strategic thinker, I develop, execute and enable the realization of organizational strategies.
Personal Life: My husband Steve and I have happily lived in the school district (Montgomery township) for the last 15 years, although I have worked in Upper Gwynedd township for the last 21 years. We have two daughters, at Pennbrook and North Penn High School and both have taken advantage of the many opportunities in the district. In the spirit of giving back, we are consistent community volunteers and support and cheer on our North Penn families whenever and wherever we can. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to give back to the community that welcomed us 15 years ago.
Why am I running for School Board?
As a parent of two school-aged students who have gone through a pandemic, I understand the impact that experience had on them. While this is not unique to our district, I was deeply affected by this, and I am invested in being a part of the solution to help my daughters and ALL students in our North Penn School District recover and thrive.
I believe that our students thrive when we put each Student as the focal point and surround them with the following partnerships:
For these reasons, I have chosen to run for a seat on the school board because our students deserve policies and programs that translate into effective practices that will enrich their experiences and position them for sustainable long-term success.
